meet my new brother

oh boy,
life has certainly changed for me!
my world was turned upside down by the arrival of this guy.

I now have to share my toys, my treats, the BED, and my owners attention!!
ugh!

but it's all gonna be o.k., he's pretty mellow, and leaves me alone most of the time.

MOST of the time. :)

I could really shake him like a little squirrel or rat because that's what us Jack Russells do ya know, but I am DIFFERENT.
I am good.
I am fair.
in fact I will even share my balls with him.


I show remarkable restraint. I am very gentle with him actually.
I will roll over on my back and let him wrestle with me, when his whole body is about the size of my head!

yup, we're gonna be good friends, I can tell.
it's just this extra weight I've piled on that's killin me.
that puppy food is awfully hard to resist! ;)

i like to bite things

when I'm not pretending to be a wild animal and biting my owner, i like to bite obscure things. Like the corners off pillows, (only the best ones on the couch mind you), or special mementos, like expensive custom made photos albums that I pluck delicately off of living room side tables....totally over looking the common books in favor of those kinds of things.
yes, I'm kooky like that.
I also take great relish in biting the corners off of all of my fuzzy stuffed dog toys, and gingerly pulling all of the fuzz out of them so they lie limp on the living room floor.
what my owner doesn't realize is that this makes the toys have maximum floppability, so I can run around the house like a crazy dog shaking my limp chew toy pretending I have actually killed something in the wild.
I like to be prepared should such an occasion actually arise.
In fact today I was out in the yard on high alert, hunting, and chased a chipmunk up the gutter drain spout.
I could hear him chirping and chattering angrily at me from inside the pipe, so of course I had to BITE the entire drain pipe off of the side of the house.
of course that was not until I had actually bitten the pipe closed, and made many puncture marks and bite holes on it turning it into swiss cheese before i ripped it from the siding.
oh,who needs those thing anyways?
it's a sunny day, no rain in the forecast, not even a cloud in sight!
So on that note, I am off to go lounge out in the sun on the back deck, and dream about what else I can bite later, because you know there will be something fun!

this is my very first post, please bear with me, I don't have opposable thumbs ya know.

I look like a perfect little angel, but in reality I am more of a little devil, with clown-like
tendencies
Don't let my charming face mislead you, I can at times be quite ferocious, but really I have
nothing but love for my family, and anyone I meet.
in fact I am quite helpful, I clean up spills!!! NOTHING get's past me!
So even though most days, you will find me lounging in the sun, I am ALWAYS on high alert!
that is, when I am not pretending to be a rabbit!
or lounging in bed, hey, someone's gotta do it!

even though, yes, at times you will catch me licking my rear end,
I am actually QUITE the little lady, I prefer to lounge with my legs crossed!

or lounge poolside.....I would never be caught dead perspiring!

in fact I am also very fashionable, and like to sport the latest styles. sweaters suit me best


I also prefer to travel in style.

In fact, My owner thinks my life is SO great, she feels the need to share it with YOU.
because yes, at times I do very funny things, like bark with food in my mouth, or bite at bubbles.
it's those kinds if things that make life SO much more special huh?
